  1. I prefer easy battery saver because of the features, with juicedefender you have to buy pro and ultimate to use the features that easy battery saver has for free

    1. That's the exact reason I just uninstalled Easy Battery Saver. It worked for months, but I started having problems with downloads, browser, etc. Uninstalled and my Thunderbolt is awesome again.

  3. Just find a good kernel for your smartphone. Freeze unwanted apps using titanium backup. I dont trust any battery saver apps. In fact they also used your power battery. Just install a good kernel to control your cpu and apps.

    1. As I know, not every android phone can find the matched kernel. So, to some extends, the battery saver still works.

  4. @ Lost soul: if you want to cut down on cpu-usage and still have a batterysaving-app without slowing down your phone: get juicedefender... I have a singlecore 1Ghz cpu in my phone, so its not speedrecordbreaker at all, this app doesn't slow it down the slightest bit. though I still think its more the placebo-effect at work here cause I can't really tell the difference in "batterysaving" with JD on or off...

  10. I guess giving up certain basic Android services, i.e data usage, network use including calling and txts and the ability to use your device, will save battery. Then by all means use these apps but if you still want to USE your phone then don't download cause these will save battery by shutting all services off.

    1. Good point, a great kernel is necessary. But I think it's much more difficult to install a kernel than just install an app, right?
