How to root android 2.3 with only a few steps

Why Root
At first, you can also check the first post of this blog: Android: To Root, or not to Root?

What is rooting? Rooting your Android phone enables you to use the Superuser so that you are the administrator of your Android device, and you can control your device totally about the system. After rooting your phone, you can install custom ROMs that eliminate the annoying crapware many manufacturers and carriers include by default. What’s more, custom ROMs can give you the latest version of Android weeks–or even months–ahead of the carriers’ sluggish update schedules. And Rooted phones can take advantage of some great performance tweaks–such as CPU overclocking and improved cache management–that can dramatically speed up Android.
Before root

HTC will release the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich update in March

When Android 4.0 released with Galaxy Nexus, HTC had promised that they would integrate Sense 4.0 into Android 4.0 ASAP. Now, HTC released Android 4.0 ICS spring schedule on Facebook.

The announcement, which HTC made on its Facebook page on Thursday, is a delay of the time frame the Taiwanese smartphone and tablet maker set for its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades back in November, when it said all the updates would take place in "early 2012."

"HTC has been working hard to get its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades ready, and we're excited to announce that our first round of ICS upgrades will roll out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XE, followed soon thereafter by the HTC Sensation XL," the company said in its Facebook statement.

What's more, HTC had confirm that not just the Android 4.0 upgrade only for Sensation series. The most of smartphones which released in 2011 also will get this upgrades later of 2012.

"In addition, we can confirm Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades will be coming later this year to the HTC Rezound, HTC Vivid, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD."

So, have you ever find your phone in this list? Compare to Motorola, we should admit that HTC is much more reliable.

Chrome for Android is Coming Finally

Finally, Chrome for Android, unlike stock Android browser, has arrived for some Android devices. And now, this browser is available in the Android Market for free download. But the Android Beta is only for Android 4.0 devices because of it need the newer hardware acceleration interfaces.

As you might expect, Chrome for Android is also as fast as the desktop because it includes the desktop version's V8 JavaScript engine. It also has gesture-based controls for moving among multiple tabs. You can also sing-in and synchronizes with the desktop version of Chrome and different devices. However, this browser does not support Adobe Flash plug-in while Google makes a promise to support a better HTML5 experience. With its performance and features, Google expects Android users to increase their browser activity.

I believe most of android users had expected this browser for a long time. But when it comes out, we also find this browser can only run in Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Till now, Android ICS only run on about 1% devices in the android world. And we also find that Opera, Dolphin and other mobile browsers are stable and run also great. I think most of people prefer to use other browser instead buy Google Nexus s or Galaxy Nexus.

If you just get Google Nexus S with Android 4.0 or Galaxy Nexus, you can just click to download Chrome for Android.
